How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Knifenoted Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you phoned or contacted Knifenoted Plumbing
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

When the Problem Is With a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to talk with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

Still, we want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. A provider who repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed from the network. Please know that Knifenoted Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, or make decisions on a provider's behalf.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@knifenoted.living and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm by email that we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include getting in touch with the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about plumbing work itself, a state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
