Referral Marketing Disclosure: How We Are Paid

Last updated: October 2026

You should know exactly how Knifenoted Plumbing works and how we earn money. This page lays out our role plainly. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

A Referral Service, Not a Plumber

Knifenoted Plumbing is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent plumbing providers. We do not do emergency plumbing, leak repair, drain cleaning, sewer line repair, water heater work or any other plumbing job.

When you phone the number on this site or send a form, your call or request may go to an independent provider. It may also go to a marketing partner that works with providers in your area.

How We Earn Money

Providers or marketing partners may pay Knifenoted Plumbing for calls, form submissions or other referrals we send their way. The payment can depend on things like how long a call lasts or whether it is answered. We may be paid even if you decide not to hire the provider.

This payment does not change what a provider charges you. You pay the provider directly for work you agree to, at the prices the provider sets.

Providers Run Their Own Businesses

Providers are independent. They are not employees, agents or partners of Knifenoted Plumbing. Each one alone is responsible for:

• Its estimates, pricing and terms
• The quality and timing of its work
• Its licenses, permits, insurance and certifications
• How it communicates and behaves with you

Being connected with a provider is not an endorsement, and it is not a promise about their work. Because of how we are paid, the provider you reach may depend on which providers are part of our network at that moment.

The Decision Is Yours

You never have to hire a provider we connect you with. Take a breath, ask questions, check credentials, ask for a written estimate and compare other quotes before you decide.

Recorded Calls

Calls made through this site may be tracked and, in some cases, recorded for quality, verification and billing purposes.
